We headed into Hyde Park at about 3:30 and had a long walk round to the VIP section and our feet were killing us afterwards.
Arrived and first thing i did was buy a huge A1 MA poster for £6, What a bargain!
Had a look round and sniffed in some of that ganja air, whilst watching a 9ft robot singing Sinatra, and two dwarve aliens stealing bags off people in the VIP/Guest area.
The VIP area was nice, lots of food and drink and thats what you need on a lovely 26C day, beers beers and more beers. Although Jennifer was on the redbull ;).
So we happened to bump into a few people..
Angelo Bruschini
We Popped over to Angelo and had a nice chat with him, he's a lovely guy, he asked us where we were from and asked us if we had heard any of the new sets, he said that we should look out for the last few minutes of Safe From Harm, which later turned out to be kick ass, angelo's work no less :)
On a funny note, he asked us if we wanted to hear a story, which we delightfully said 'yeah sure'
these were his exact words:
'So do you know about horace?, yeah, you know he has 21 kids right?, well i think he was trying to get a number 22, but his mrs caught him and ran him over'
Angelo was great, a really easy going guy and was more more then happy to have a picture with us, cheers Angelo!
So after a little chat with Massive Attack's lead guitarist we thought we'd have another drink or two, and just maybe bump into a certain Mr Del Naja, and have a little chat with him, as you do, d'know what i mean?
Robert '3D' Del Naja
3D was a pleasure to chat with, we walked up to him as he walked out of the artist preperation area, i shook his hand, thanked him for everything and mentioned if he had visitied my website, he said he had and he had recognised Jennifer distinctly and his exact words were, 'yeah you and me have been communicatin, hows it goin'
So we had a few pictures taken with D, and one of his crew members was happy to take one of us together, D had said something to make us laugh, i can't remember what but hey.
After a bit more strolling, and bumped into a Mr Winston Blissett, charming guy, we had a little chat and Winston was positive he had recognised me from somewhere also, i was a little freaked out, in a positive way. We thanked him for his mighty bass skills and he was happy for a picture opp with us fine and frantic fans, he gave us all the best and we left him to have some food and a carling with his family.
Winston Blissett
So, after Alex Zane knocked into me and apologised, shook my hand and went back on the T4 bus, we noticed no other then Daddy G was standing a meter away from us, unfortunately and sadly he walked like lightning into the Guest area, mind you he arrived a lot later then everyone else.
I also had the pleasure of bumping into and meeting Miss Paris Hilton, who gave me a quick wink.
